Eligibility Criteria
- For RO & ARO: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University + Diploma/Certificate in Computer (minimum 6 months) OR ‘O’ Level certificate. Preference to Law graduates.
- For Court Assistant (CA): Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks and Computer typing speed (English/Hindi) as per court norms.
- Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026): 21 to 35 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD as per UP Govt. rules).
- Language Proficiency: Knowledge of Hindi Devanagari script and English typing/reading ability.

Pay Scale & Benefits
Review Officer (RO): Pay Matrix Level-7 (₹ 44,900 - ₹ 1,42,400) as per 7th CPC.
Assistant Review Officer (ARO): Level-6 (₹ 35,400 - ₹ 1,12,400).
Court Assistant (CA): Level-4 (₹ 25,500 - ₹ 81,100).
Additional allowances: DA, HRA, Travel Allowance, Medical & pension benefits as per High Court rules.
Selection Process
- Phase I: Computer Based Test (CBT) – Objective MCQs (General Hindi, English, Reasoning, GK, Computer Awareness).
- Phase II: Typing Test (English/Hindi) & Computer Practical for ARO/CA.
- Phase III: Document Verification & Interview (only for RO post in exceptional cases).
- Final Merit: Based on CBT + Skill Test marks.
